The 24 month replacement warranty is real and will be backed up by Refrigerator Ice Maker Repair Service in full. The reality is that very seldom to ice makers go bad inside 24 months. If there is a problem with the service it is usually another part of the system that needs to be addressed and those can be found in the troubleshooting tips section for infrared sensor or shut off arm controlled ice makers whichever design you have. Just Ice Makers does ask that all these other potential problems be addressed and looked into thoroughly before contacting us for a replacement. The 8 cube infrared sensor controlled ice maker is exempt from this warranty if the I.R. sensor boards go bad during the warranty period. Sometimes control boards that have gone bad can virus the ice maker from receiving a signal from the new control boards. This is rare but does happen and when it does the seller should be held responsible. Control board set 4389102 is exempt from this 24 month offer but is replacement warrantied for industry standard 12 month period. The warranty is void for shut off arm controlled ice makers if foreign food and drink containers were placed in the ice bucket during use.
